It’s quiet. No screams of pain, no cries of terror, no Trion Warriors bombarding the gate. Rare are the days Calvaria experiences this: when the war is at a stalemate and neither side dares to attack. It’s the brief, unnerving calm before the storm starts up once again, relentless and everlasting. Back then, it was like this as well, but back then, you were not alone. Before your entire world changed, there was also a fleeting moment of peace. A respite for the weary soul. You, along with Vittarno and Izukacha, had arranged a birthday party for Yuma. It was surprising, really, how well the timing worked out. If Spinthir hadn’t paused their attack to wait for supplies, Yuma’s birthday would have passed unnoticed, lost in the echos of war.
